my cookies refuse to conform. evrytime i make cookies or any other bisckits they go like littel cakes. i folow what i'm sposed to put in them but sometimes i start the mixing with a electrick wisk rather than a hand wisk or wooden spoon as i have weak rists. could this be what i'm doing rong? does this happen to anyone elce?

I'm not totally sure, but that could be your problem. Using a hand whisk or a wooden spoon leaves the dough heavy and moist, and more able to stick to itself. An electric mixer aerates the dough, drying it out slightly and making it light and fluffy. This can make for some cloud-like cookies, but they will probably not keep shape as well.
Another problem could be the measurements. If you use too much or not enough of certain ingredients this will affect the dough. Remember, with recipes written in metric, use metric utensils. With "standard", use standard utensils. ]
