Writing a book (ideas) please tell me which ones you like best(:
hey there(: I am a teen/f and I would like to start writng another book. I want this one to be a novel. I have already wrote one book and have it published but I would like to start a serious YA book. I have some Ideas but I don't know which one sounds more appealing. So I was hoping I could get yall's opinions.
My first idea which is something I day dream about a lot. It is about a teen girl maybe 16, and she really is set on having a normal life knowing she will most likely ever be anything more, maybe a teacher or nurse. Though she has dreams of meeting someone famous, and falling in love with like a teen idol. When one day her father gets a promotion and her and her family have to move to California, (like L.A or Malibu)and she is upset about leaving her friends. One day they go to wherever in california (havn't decided) just to look at their new house and see where things will go. Then they go out to eat one night and the girl sees a really cute boy at a table with like about 5 or 6 grownups. She thinks he is really cute and things,and accidently bumps into him while going to the restroom, they talk for a few minutes and he seems to stare at her a lot too while eating that night. Then later the girl and her family go back to her hometown to pack up and move, when the girl and her friends go see some movie her friends want to see, kind of as a going away party. Turns out when they watch the movie the boy from the restaurant is one of the main stars of the movie. (anyway to speed this up the girl moves and her and famous boy get together)go through hardships then get back together at the end.
Now for my second Idea. I thought it would be different to write about something with 4 teenagers. They all "almost" die the same night, like one from car wreck, one from over dose, one form suicide, and one got shot. (i know that sounds bad but keep reading)anyway they all end up in the same hospital never met each other but each one I guess you can say kind of dies but they get transported somewhere kind of like heaven but with like basically just them, and they meet each other in this other deminsion and wonder what has happened to them, then they see back to earth and see what has happened, they start to remember and the 4 teens (2 girls 2 boys) start talking and explaining what happened to them such as car wreck etc. Then they have to make it out together and they kind of talk and help each other like with the ones problem of wanting to commit suicide, and like the one that over dosed. They sit and talk get to know each other and what their life was like when they were alive. Then some of the charachters fall in love stuff like that. Then of course some more stuff happens, i just havn't thought yet, but then like at the end they all 4 realize the importance of life, including some with their new love life from their after life, Then sense they realize the importance they get another chance at life, and wind up waking up in their hospitla beds(comming back alive) and being thankful. it takes some time but then each one remembers what happened before they reawoke (like in the after life they where at). but they don't tell any of their family or the doctors about what happened. but as they recover and its time for them to come home, Each one comes out of their hospital rooms pretty much around the same time and see each other for the first time alive.It ends with them sitting in the waiting room together while their prents sign them out and they rekindle and the in love ones exchange numbers, and as they all leave the hospital they all look at each other, the two in love kiss, and then they all leave with their parents who look bewildered about their children knowing each other.
Well those are my two ideas about things to write about for my book. I was just wondering if you could give me your idea about which one if you like best if any or both. Also if you could give me your thoughts. Thank you for your help(:

Ok well first of all I really like both of your ideas. The first one well lets just say it is like so many other books out there and sometime books should be lets say "different". By different I me well alot of people have the place in a common place but 1 of my ideas as I read this is well why don't they go somewhere that's not a common place like say Maine, Massachusetts, Oregon etc..... For the second 1 I really like that choice. It really like you said "showes the importance in like". What I would do is make a chart with all of your ideas and go to friends and family and ask them to pick there favorite 5 and the "ideas" with the most votes well make a book about that.

Wow...those are both really good ideas. Personally, I would read both of those, but here's what I think about them.
The first one seems like a classic girl fall in love with a famous guy book. Honestly, it seems like it would be harder to write because you don't want it to be too similar to other novels like this. I've read tons of books that have similarities to this, so you'd have to find something that would really pop out and make it unique instead of another girlie book that involves famous people. Don't get me wrong, it's a great idea, it might just be the harder option.
The second one seems to be full of drama. I would definitely read this. It also seems like it could reach a wider audience. The plot is unusual but at the same time it's compelling. In a way, it makes me think of Ellen Hopkins' books just because issues with the teenagers (which it also makes it more realistic and able to be related to).
Anyways, those are some of the things I thought about when I read the ideas. Both of them are great and I would definitely read both of them. Good luck and I hope this was helpful :)
