My dad is a software engineer/computer programmer.
he got his associates at Pen state.
this profession and the job you attain base off two things:
how good you are at it(if you're good enough, you don't need much schooling)
experience. a lot of places hire based off how long you've been doing it.

If it's something that occurs interesting to you or exciting then u should do it! Find colleges that have a focus on this event
