im getting my belly pierced this thursday, and im scared...
please tell me how you felt or anything like that..
HOW MUCH IT HURT
HOW LONG DID THE PAIN LAST, ETC
THANKYOU! :D
On a scale 1-10 it hurt probably a 1. I didn't even really feel it. If anything I'd have to say my cartlidge in my ear, hurt the worst.
My pain only lasted a couple of days; but of course that also depends on how well you take care of it, or if your alergic to the type of ring they use.
Just a little pointed, DO NOT GET THE HOOP RING! Those are the hardest to take care of. You want to get a regular belly button ring. That way you can actually move it up and down; with the hoop you have to twist it, and that will hurt like hell if your sore.
Rena-Chan answered Wednesday December 21 2011, 10:41 am: I've had mine pierced before, as well as I've pierced many. Piercings are always scary at first, but in the end you typically feel relieved because it's never as bad as you think it may be. When I had mine done, it only felt like a small pinch. Other's told me it hurt. So really it varies depending on how well you can handle pain. The pain does not last for very long, so long as you are careful and follow directions given to you by your piercer. It'll be tender for about a week to 2 weeks, if you EVER get an infection, DO NOT remove your piercing, as this could trap the infection inside your body causing it to spread. When getting your belly button pierced, I typically recommend having a hoop as your first option, since it's much easier to clean while you're in the shower. (you have to move it in and out to get the soap inside the piercing, and to rinse it out.) and ALWAYS make sure to do the rinse out thoroughly.
