Starting a social network

Question Posted Tuesday December 20 2011, 4:28 pm

Hi all.

I was in the shower this morning and had a random brain wave: a social network of some sort, but for students who need help with homework etc? A network of students who need help on a certain topics that they are struggling with, and help students with topics that they are good at. It would be sort of like advicenators: a Q+A system.

Now where would one start in setting this up? Like, designing the website and stuff? Would you think much money would be needed to start this up?

Thanks in advance folks.

start with a free website like on Tumblr or blogspot or wordpress....check the popularity of the blog...if things go well then invest in buying a domain..best of luck..let me know how it went :)
