Is there a surgery to make my forehead smaller?

Question Posted Tuesday December 20 2011, 2:11 pm

I am incredibly self-conscious about my forehead. It's very large, and it's basically my only facial feature I don't like. For years it's made me unhappy with the way I look and I just want it to be premanetly fixed. It doesn't help that my friends and mother will poke fun at me for my forehead, either.

I already have bangs, but bangs are annoying. I want to be able to brush my hair back and out of my face. But I can't do that.
Are there any surgeries to make it small? I once breifly saw something in a magazine about lowering the hairline?
Could anybody tell me a little more about these things, and maybe give me an estimate of how much it would cost?

Also, please only answer about the surgeries. Don't tell me I should love myself for the way I was born/give me other tips to hide it. That doesn't help my situation even if you're trying to be nice. Thank you.

Hello,

You should love yourself the way you were made. As you grow older your features begin to develop. if its your forehead that you are worried about please not too much. I actually know someone who had a bid forehead and now its kinda smaller.

If you do surgery and you know surgery isnt 100% safe it comes with its risk what will you do then if the unthinkable happens.

Take care.

Ok, for forehead surgery, as well as prices, you would want to speak with a cosmetic surgeon. I can honestly understand the way you feel, as I feel the same way about my own forehead. I feel as though mine is too big, but I am capable of living with bangs. Keeps me looking younger ;]

But here is information on forehead reduction/hairline lowering procedures.

If you wish for information on cost, like I said, you would HAVE to speak with someone who specializes in that field.

Hope this helped.
