I have a scale for measuring the powder loads I put in my homemade ammunition- I calibrate it before use EVERY time. this is because I'm dealing with measurements that are not only extremely small(1/7,000 of a pound), but also because if I am off by just a little tiny bit, my ammunition will exceed the chamber pressure threshold of my rifle and cause a rather energetic explosion. in my face. those bathroom scales are just guidelines, not the word of God. so if you're trying to track your weight while you're on a diet, you'll have a general idea of how good you are doing. don't get a really expensive one, because thats just wasting money.
good luck
