Mr. Coffee ECM160 4-Cup Steam Espresso Machine

I heard that i need an espresso tamper to go with this product. the product does not come with one, and in order to make good espresso is needs one. what measurement should i get to fit this machine? thanks!

I say you just use a handheld tamper, maybe a 49mm one. Not expensive at all. All it will do is compress the coffee, and so even if it is too small, just move it about. Its hard to know what size without having the basket directly in front of you. You could just contact Mr. Coffee though, and ask. Maybe they do one that fits the machine perfectly. I haven't seen one however.

But just measure the basket, and see what size fits. Make sure you buy an aluminium/steel one, not plastic.
