Question Posted Wednesday November 9 2011, 10:01 pm
I have a new laptop operating on Windows 7 from Toshiba. My problem is the keyboard. There`s something about it that`s different than I have encountered before.
The best example that will explain this is that my number 2 key has the symbol for AT.COM that you`d see in an e-mail address. Instead of just the at sign I`ve got quotation marks and one other symbol. It`s like that on 90% of the number keys when you would hit shift.
What can I do to be sure I get it to make the right symbols when I hit shift. I can`t put a bloody at sign to sign into e-mails even. If you know what I need to do to get the right symbols that would be appreciated.
Additional info, added Wednesday November 9 2011, 10:29 pm: My question mark key has a question mark in blue a blue slash and a giant red E. I can`t make a question mark either because I don`t know what to hold down as shift gives me something else. I prefer my mac keyboard to this.. Go to Start > Control Panel > Region & Language > Keyboards and Languages > Change keyboards > General > Add > English (United States) etc.
