What do i do?

Question Posted Wednesday October 26 2011, 9:57 pm

I'm 13/female (this might be really long)

I have liked this guy for qiute a while and i know it was too late to tell him now because I'm moving to a completely different state but I just wanted him to know so that i wouldn't regret not telling him later, but i think i did something wrong.

Ok this is how it went, I have my piano class with him and he's been flirting with me for a while and i thought i should do something. So yesterday I told a bunch of people that were hanging around us to leave for a couple minutes so that i could talk to him alone so that i wouldn't be embarassed if he said no in front of other people and so that he wouldn't feel pressured to say anything because it wasn't cool or whatever it might be. so i said, "ok, if i wasn't moving, and i asked you out what would you say?" and he said "i don't know" and he smiled at me. Ok so i was freaking out cuz i have no idea what 'i don't know' means and i was just thinking about him all night last night and today i was trying to talk to him about it again and he wouldn't look at me!!!! I was so confused and worried that i did something wrong that i just shrugged it off but it was still in the back of my mind. It was torture and one of my friends told me that he could just expect a certain reaction from me to test me or something? idk but anyways...

Then just now at another friend's soccer game, I asked her about it because she has gone out with the same guy a bunch of times so she knows him very well, and I told her what happened and she thinks he might like me because he gets shy around people he likes and he won't even look at her if he likes her.

So what do you think? Is this normal? I trust my friend's opinion because she did go out with him a LOT of times so she knows him very well. I will try to talk to him again tomorrow.

Any answers are welcome. Thank you all for answering in advance!!!

I believe that if a guy likes you he will do anything in his power to show you and nothing will stop him. Then again everyone is different and that means all guys are different and react differently to things. He could be shy or maybe he's not interested. I mean my guess is as good as yours when it comes to this. I don't know the guy and therefore I can't really make an assumption. I can only go based off of my dating experience.
I mean you're moving so why do you want to tell him this now? Are you expecting something out of this? Like a long distance relationship (LDR)? I guess if you want that then ask him out and if not then I would just leave it alone. You said what you needed to and now the ball is in his court. Now whether he does something or not is up to him.
