All depends where you live. Near me the best priced place is Piercing Pagoda because they only make you pay for the earring (less than $10). But it can get as high as $60. If there is a Claire's around you they will do it but I'm not sure of the price. Honestly the best way to go is going to a tattoo parlor or a specialized piercing shop because they use a needle as oppose to a gun and are usually much more clean, careful and experienced. You will end up paying more but it will be worth it to not get an infection.

Hello well to start off the top of your ear is you cartilage and it depends were you go. I reall dont know your location so I cant really help with that but I have alot of friends that went to Walmart and got it pierced there. If you buy 1 of there earings that are in the case they will do it for free. If you do get it pierced you usually will have to get it on the opposite side that you sleep on well if you sleep on your left side you get it on the right side and if you sleep on your right side you get it on the left. You are not suppose to take it out for about 8 weeks and clean it 2-3 times a day.
