I thought I got over my depression, but recently all I feel is sad and exhausted. I'm so stressed out and I feel like I'm alone sometimes. I don't have anybody to talk with this about. My parents think I'm overly dramatic and I don't have any close friends anymore. I just can't take it anymore.
If you have been in therapy then you should be able to identify the symptoms of depression and know when you need help. Your parents thinking your being overly dramatic is wrong and is like turning a blind eye to the problem.
The phrase; "I just can't take it anymore," scares me as I'm not sure how to interpret your meaning. If you are unable to convince your parents you need to see a doctor and get help then I would like you to do one of two things.
If you think you could possibly hurt yourself then I want you to pick up the phone and dial 911. Stay on the line with the 911 operator until help arrives and make sure your parents let the police and paramedics in the house. Actually that is why the police are being sent to make sure that you are safe and that the paramedics get to examine you and if necessary take you to the hospital to be seen by the doctors. The police are there to ensure your safety and well being so do not be afraid.
If you are not thinking of hurting yourself then talk to a trusted teacher at school. The school system has procedures to follow, once you talk with a teacher or principal, to see to it you get help.
You can get help for how your feeling you just need to ask the right people. If their is a fire station in your neighborhood you can go to it and ask those on duty for help. Fire Stations are safe havens for children in the U. S. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
