Have you ever stolen something? I am writing a short story and it involves someone who stole from a store at the mall. So I wanted to ask some people anonymously:
Have you ever stolen something? Why? What was the motivation behind it? And how did you feel after you did it?
Thank you so much!

I only recall stealing a crayon from the crayon box in kindergarden. Because I wanted it and it was the only one that had to repeated copies. I don't think I regret it but it didn't motivate me to steal at all afterwards though. I think I learned that you can get away with it, but it doesn't mean that you have to do it.
I know this girl who shoplifts jeans from the mall. I guess she has a point- they're at least $35for a pair and that is for one day - what else will you wear for the rest of the week? But she shouldn't because I view her in a completely different way now. Why not get a job? She came back this year with new nice extensions and I just don't know what to think anymore.

Stealing is crime
Have I ever stolen? Sure, Back in my High School I was rebellious and always doing stupid shit. I stole someone's purse and that ended me in the back of a police car. My intentions? I don't remember having intentions but I do remember making one hell of a stupid choice. I'm not sure if you are "really" writing a story or not but if you are asking this question based on thinking of doing so, I advise you to not do anything you will end up regretting.
Stealing a purse: I ended up with a charge of larceny. It wasn't a very nice thing to have on a record however we are all stupid at one point in our lives and High School was years ago. ]
