Can being kicked in the vagina delay getting your first period?

Hi i was just wondering if being kicked really hard in he vagina can delay getting your first period?

It can delay your first period, because it can swell up, but I also have heard that it cannot effect you at all, when this happened to me I still got my period so, I don't think that it can delay your period.
