I am guessing you didn't mean this to end up in my inbox, since I didn't answer your question, which means the person you meant to answer has inbox questions turned off, at least from unregistered users.
I am sorry you are dealing with whatever it is that drives you to make such a post here. :-(
I think most of us have been or will be someplace very dark in our lives. Mine was very dark, and I didn't really see a way out... but I hung in there. Four years later, and the whole situation is gone. Sure there are occasional reminders of what she did to me, but on the whole, things are better.
Where there was once only pain and each day was not a struggle to get up, so much as a struggle to invent a new reason not to lay there and die... now, all that is just a memory.
And for the record, at the time, I had very little. Everything had been taken from me, and I was 2,500-3,000 miles from the nearest person who cared if I lived or died.
Don't underestimate time. People always say it is your enemy, but in things like you and I are talking about... that isn't always true.
I hope things work out for you, sooner, rather than later.
DN.
P.S. I don't mind you venting at me, if it helps your situation. You know where my inbox is. ]
