throat normal?

Question Posted Tuesday September 20 2011, 6:22 am

i recently noticed that everytime i swallow (my saliva) i can feel the ridges in my throat (its kinda bony feeling). i hope you all understand what i'm talking about. i can't explain it, it goes away if i have a lot of salive or if i'm eating or something. i'm just wondering if others have this and if i've always had this and i'm just being paranoid. thanks for the advice.

I know what you're talking about. Its usually just a dry throat due to dehydration. Drink Lots of water or else it can get worse. This happened to me in third grade and I went to the ER for an IV because of dehydration. If it doesn't go away within a few days try to see your doctor or have a friend check your throat with a flashlight to see if you have irritation or anything icky in the back of it.

hope I helped~
