Getting Fingered

Question Posted Sunday September 18 2011, 10:41 pm

Ok, so I am 18 and am a virgin, and my boyfriend fingered me for the first time last week and it hurt really bad! The second time he did it hurt too, and he was only using one finger, and not going in very far. He was being slow and gentle, but it still hurt like a mother, I wanted to cry! What do I do? Am I doing something wrong, or is that normal? I mean, I don't use tampos, and don't finger myself, so does that matter?

So, basically, you lost your virginity to a finger.

Your hymen is in the way. Until it is fully torn, there is going to be pain.

I normally wouldn't tell an 18 year old about this, but since you had no idea your hymen was there, I feel like I should:

You can get STDs from fingering, oral sex as well as the rest. With that in mind, please get both yourself and your boyfriend tested before you end up with lifelong regret.

As for your question of the pain being normal: Yes. You are tearing your hymen(only physical sign of virginity) away. You are literally tearing a piece of sensitive flesh to pieces. That usually hurts. ;-)

Please take care of yourself.

One last note since you are very new to all this: Condoms do not stop herpes or HPV (Cancer, and genital warts.) Thought you should know.
