Hi I really want to get rid of my dark circles under my eyes and my "hooded eyes". The top part of my eyelids are drooping over the rest of my eyelid, if that made any sense.
It's not from old age, I'm still a teenager, it's just genetic. My mom and dad have dark circles, my brother and sisters have them, and I have them. Are there any natural ways to get rid of them? By the way, I don't have the money to buy hydrolyze or something like that, I was wondering if maybe you could use something like oatmeal (that was random) to get rid of them. Thanks!
For dark circles, it's important to use a good eye cream every night- although that can be expensive, a good one is about 35 bucks. (It'll last six months, a year, or even more, though.) Clinique Anti-Gravity and Benefit It's Potent both did a great job of fading my dark circles, which used to be pretty bad. If you don't want to spend the money on that, you can just get good at covering them up with concealer- Revlon Photoready is a good cheap one.
annabanana answered Thursday September 1 2011, 9:18 am: well, i suggest you take enough water and sleep.
then dab concealer that would balance the color of the eye area to your skin and finish off with a high coverage powder to even out your make up..
check out also eye creams you can use at night and use regularly, its a lot better than expensive eye creams that promise fast results because its the frequency of use and length of time that is much more significant than "miracles".. :)
i guess keeping the eye area cool would help too, like slicing cool cucumber pieces to rest your eyes at the end of the day.
also use sun glasses during the day because when we dont, and the sun is hot, we squint and use eye muscles that forms eye bags and dark circles too..
good luck! [ annabanana's advice column | Ask annabanana A Question ]
