Is it normal for my clit to bleed a bit after masterbation?

Question Posted Thursday August 4 2011, 1:09 pm

18/f
I just masterbated by rubbing my clit. At first i went in the vagina and did the clit at the sametime and orgasmed. Then when i just focused on the clit to orgasm a 2nd time and i coudlnt. My clit was really sore and hurt alot. It also kinda burned a bit too. But i dont know if the burning was cause i had a bit of discharge on my finger and rubbing my clit and it irritated it or something. I couldnt orgasm the 2nd time cause my clit hurt wayy to much and was kinda burning. I was not shaved and i think that the hair mayeb irritated it too? Has this happend to anyone before and is this normal. I looked afterward and my clit area was slighty bleeding and really red. Was it cause i went too hard?

Does anyone know why this happend, it has happend a few times? im a virgin if that changes anything. Is this normal?

Thanks for the advice in advance. I really appreciate it :) thanks.

I don't believe anything is wrong. Women sometimes bleed when orgasming. But i suggest mentioning this to your doctor. And being a virgin has nothing to do with this.

Being a virgin doesn't have anything to do with that. Also, I don't believe it was your...clitoris bleeding. But I think it would be best to let you know, Many women bleed after an orgasm. Especially after clitoral stimulation. When you orgasm, from masturbation or any other reason, your uterus contracts and if there is any blood in there at all, it will be squeezed out. And, being as how women genitalia is designed, it may have come from your vagina, and "slipped" onto your clitoris, giving you the idea that you're clitoris was bleeding. So ask yourself, when was your last period before self stimulation? If you are sure it wasn't due to menstrual residue, it could be a cervical illness of some sort. I would suggest going to a gynecologist and getting it checked up on. Remember, you can always choose your obgyn as well if you are uncomfortable with one you have, and just like doctors, be sure to ASK QUESTIONS and state your concerns. Never be embarrassed with any doctor, because if you hesitate, and you do have a condition, it could only worsen.

As well as the burning/hurt clitoris, your vaginal fluids will have no negative effect on yourself, chances are you went a little too hard while stimulating yourself. Also, yes pubic hair can also irritate your clitoris if it is rubbing against it.
