Sounds like you are dating someone who doesn't know how to be independent and take care of themselves. Frankly, This statement would probably scare me off to some degree. The columnist below me has a point, How long have you two been dating? If this is something suddenly out of the blue any earlier than the first year......I'd jet
Nobody needs to be in a relationship with someone who is needy and dependent upon others, When someone is in a relationship they usually look for someone who they can count on, raise a family with etc. This is definitely not someone who sounds like they can do neither. My advise? Find someone who isn't afraid of being independent. [ Xui's advice column | Ask Xui A Question ]

If their life depends on you... that means they are not really dependent on their selve and they are relying on you. Seems like this person really well not obsessed, but sure does have feelings for you. This person can either be one of those that fall too quickly and blurt things that aren't true out, actually wants a future with you , or just says it to make you feel better. I think when someone says that they really do have feelings for you and meaning that their life is focussed and surrounded by you and that your the one they will come to for help. You should consider just putting that aside and see if they actually mean it.. most say that.. but little actually fall with the words. If you notice that they are actually legit in saying it... you should talk to them about it. You should talk to them either way. Your asking strangers what it means.. I think personally you should ask them yourself to see what THEY meant actually by it because peoples opinions are diffeernt on what it means to what THAT person who said it meant. It could be made into different context.
