Am i in love, does he like me back?
There is this boy i like, he is also one of my close friends but he is not the same guy as the guy i was talkin about in my other question 'I have a crush on my best friends major crush',i have taken that advice and have gave up on his crazy signs and fighting with my friend for it.
I have liked this guy for a while now,even when i liked the other guy.
He is really sweet and nice to me, we hang out a lot and talk to each other on social networking.
i think he likes me and have been giving lots of signs, i am not sure if askin for his number would be awkward and will make it obvious that i like him or if it would seem like a friendship thing.
We are great friends and dont keep secrets from each other, all of his friends thinks he likes me and my friends think we would make a great couple.
I dont know if i should tell him how i feel or how he would react.
i really like him and am not sure what to do.

Well you guys dont keep anything secrets like yoiu said , his friends THINK he likes you , your friends telling you to , ALL POSITIVE THINGS! Why not ask for his cell phone? trust me if you ask for it and if he does like you like his friends THINK he does then why not ask? he will give you his phone number without a problem. I think you should ask him for the number.. you asked for the number and now you should wait and see what he does and says... and judging from that wait for him to ask the next move , trust me if he likes you he will come to you :)

if you really like him, then just go up to him and tell him, the worst he can say is he doesnt like you back.... if he doesnt share the same feelings then dont worry.... you will find someone who will love you just the way you are

The key to this is doing it in a nonchalant way and making it seem like no big deal. Casually talk to him about something. Then switch the topic to something you'd like to do.. for instance, lets say you want to see this new movie coming out. Bring up the movie topic and ask him if he's seen it. If he hasn't, just be like- oh yeah i want to see that movie too. we should watch it together! If he has seen it, make it seem like no big deal. be like- oh ok i was just wondering if its good or not. If he agrees to doing something with you (like seeing that movie you mentioned) then be like- ok here's my number (324-234-2343) text or call me whenever you're free and we will go see the movie (or whatever else you want to do).
If he starts acting weird or awkward about it (which I dont see why he would.. i mean he obviously likes you..) then make it seem like its not a big deal and be like- ok maybe another time.
