No Carpol Tunnel Syndrome! Okay, so for about five years now, I've been having numbing, aching pains from the center of my palm all the way down to my elbow and it's only on the underside of my arm. I use my hands to type a lot since I am a writer. Recently, the pain has turned a bit sharp in my wrists every so often if I don't stop to stretch my hands or crack my knuckles. Is pausing to stretch every so often good to make sure I don't get carpol tunnel syndrome? Because I've been told that I have a chance of getting it since I over use my hands. I type all day long from when I wake up until I go to bed.
Also, I've had the pain in my arms get so bad once that I had to leave school because I couldn't lift my arms or hold a pencil. My teacher told me I should've gone straight to the hospital, but my dad didn't want to take me... Should I have gone?

YES! You should've gone to the hospital then, and I still think you should go now. Because your using your hands so much and already feel this pain, you could already have carpol tunnel syndrome.
Just a little extra help.....when typing, it may be better to use and arm supporter cushion (do you get what I mean) to prevent putting presssure on your wrists from leaning against the desk or table. ]
