There is a lump in the middle of my right shin bone. I've had it for a year, but I only manage to notice it when I've gotten a bruise on my leg. You can't see the lump as far as I know, but you can feel it. It's hard. It doesn't hurt - though it certainly felt a little irritated after I spent a few minutes pressing on it to see if it was squishy or if it separated from the bone at all.
I have a bump on my wrist bone and it is also squishy, I was told it was just a cyst and there is not much you can do about it, that or calcium deposit. If you are not too sure of it and you would rather have further answers, go see your doctor. (:
