A very similar thing happened to me, just a couple days ago. I was having a huge fight with my mother, and things got so bad so I ran to my room and without thinking began to draw lines in my skin with my fingernails on my wrist until I broke skin. I couldn't show my face until the marks went away, it was horrible.

I saw you asked this question four or five times. Either that, or a bunch of people have been in a situation seemingly identical to yours. Not to be harsh, but I think you are freaking out about this a bit too much. Not that cutting isn't something to be worried about, but I think you're approaching this the wrong way.

No matter what you think, or whatever feelings or doubts you have about telling someone, you should definetly tell. You need to work this out before it gets any worse.

Please, please, please listen to me. TELL SOMEONE. This is a horrible thing to keep to yourself and its a lot harder to stop when you aren't getting any help.

You seemed to be having doubts on who to tell. Tell anyone, a teacher, a parent, your grandma, a friend, anyone. You just generally need help from someone before you end up like my best friend.

I am 15 and I have gone down a very similar road it's been going on for 4 1/2 years. please tell someone now. Sit down and talk to someone ( u trust) bring a friend or another family member to help with the convo start it out. Like " mom I really want to talk to you about something serious don't be mad please but make sure" she knows your not talking about being prego or she might go off yelling. Your mom may say you need to see a therapist or psychiatrist. It may see like a horrible Idea but family counseling or self therapy will help. This is a very serious thing please start to discuss It with someone you trust.

Just sit down with a friend or family member and tell them what your going through the sooner you tell someone the better it will be for you atleast you will get the help you need it seems you might be dealing with depression so tell someone just sit them down and tell them how you feel and what youve been doing to yourself they love you and will want to help you.
