I lied, so now I am the bad guy?
i lied to a friend about some messages that were sent to me about him by his friends.they werent anything but negativity.was it bad me for prevent him from seeing what people had to say about him?..because apparently,now im the BAD GUY.

Lying does make you partly the bad guy. its just the truth. i understand that you were trying to keep your friend from feeling bad. but maybe if your friend saw those things, your friend might try to improve his/her personality. maybe it could have helped in the long run. your in a tough situation. you did a bad thing but for a good cause. i would say, just take the blame. let the situation blow over. and get back to your happy life.

Maybe you lied to protect his feelings. That doesnt make you a bad person but you should tell him that you lied and why

Seems like this guy may be taking this a little far, there was nothing negative said about him as you said above so he should be worried. And People cursing you is not right. If someone is treating you like that then maybe you should just drop them like a bad habit. You do not deserve that You are better than that. And maybe it is time to get better friend who see that. You said what should your response be.. mine would be you know what you are supposed to be my friend yet you are cursing me like that, so you go on with your life and leave me alone or you be a real friend and treat me with some respect... good luck and best wishes! :)
