Hi there,

The number one situation seems to be people using "live" wallpapers and backgrounds on their phones. If you switch to static, non-updating choices instead, your battery life should improve.

There are a great many other things you can do to extend HTC EVO battery life. Here are a couple great articles:

"Tips and tricks to extending the HTC EVO 4G and Incredible's battery life..."

... and:

"How To Stretch Battery Life on the HTC EVO 4G"

So if you go through those and still have issues, or you come up with another Android phone question, head on over to the Android Forums:

They even have a forum for your exact phone! (I linked to the one for your phone.)
