I've been taking birth control for 6 months now, and this has never happened before. I missed a pill on the 3rd week of the active pills, i looked it up online and in the information packet the pharmacy gave me and it said to take the rest of the active pills and to NOT take the unactive (sugar) pills, it told me to use another form of protection for 7 days. it also said its likely i'd skip my period. The thing is, I've been dating my boyfriend for 9 months now, me and him have NEVER used protection, I had an abortion in January and it truly crushed us, especially him. I cant go through with this again.. we still dont use protection because i'm allergic to latex, but for those 7 days, we just chose to have him use the "pull-out" method. Is there anyway i'm pregnant ? i'm still on the third day of my inactive pills in the second pack, but my body doesnt feel like it usually does pre-period. Someone help pleaseeee!
There are such things as NON-LATEX CONDOMS... go figure. And the 'PULL OUT' method DOESN'T work. There is such thing as PRECUM.
Google this stuff. Learn from your parents/friends/family members. Honestly, you should have learned this in middle school.
You're going to need to buy a pregnancy test just to make sure. But seriously, be smart next time. Whether your on birth control or not, you need to use a condom. Birth control is not 100% (obviously). [ Ginguhh's advice column | Ask Ginguhh A Question ]
YoungMommy answered Friday July 8 2011, 8:01 am: even on birth control you still have a risk of pregnancy.. a small risk but still a risk... the "pull out method" does not work (ask my two children haha) go to your doctor and ask for him to do a test and if you are not pregnant then ask him what else you can do to prevent pregnancy along with the birth control you already have... good luck [ YoungMommy's advice column | Ask YoungMommy A Question ]
