Alright you get the tampon out of the wrapper.... then you open your libal (not sure how to spell that but its the two skins flaps "down there") the insert the applicator all the way in your vagina until your fingers touch your body then push the tampon in. ]
hahahah dude i have bene trying to use one of those things for 4 years now. Just not working Goood luuck ]
as a beginning tampon user, buy tampons with applicators. it's been a long time since i've used them, but i think tampax pearl would be a good one to try. it will look like this:

they have instructions, but i remember it took me many tries to figure it out (though i started with o.b., which have no applicators!). it may be a bit hard or scary if you don't handle your vagina much, but don't freak out. if you are not too familiar with your vagina, start by trying to stick a finger in it when you shower, just to figure out where your vaginal opening is and what it feels like. if you don't feel comfortable doing that, then just start with trying to insert the tampon. wash your hands, sit down on the toilet, slouch down, unwrap a tampon and try inserting the rounded tip of the tampon into your vaginal opening, while holding it with 2-3 fingers at the opposite end of the wider plastic part (the strip in the middle in the picture). hold the applicator so that it's aimed towards the center of your belly. once you push it in at least one inch, or all the way to where you're holding it, push the long thin plastic part in. once you push it in as far as it will go, remove the applicator - your tampon should be in and the string will be sticking out, so you can remove it. you have to change your tampon less than every 6 hours. ]
