I'm a 15 year old girl and I am what you would call clean. I shower everyday. I have straight-ish, medium thick, brown hair and it gets greasy very quickly and it makes me look scumy. what can I do to fix it

One of the easiest ways to fix this problem is to wash your hair every other day. The more you wash it, the natural oils in your hair are gone. I know this is hard and I wash my hair every day as well. Your hair isn't greasy, but it just get's flat and it looks that way.

For one, try switching your shampoo and conditioner. Tresemee has great selections for different hair types. You can try the hydration one, or the volume one.

Try avoiding using too much product in your hair. Hairspray, gel, etc. can all make the hair feel dirty.

<p>

The next thing, try dry shampoo! Tresemee came out with a new product line of dry shampoo. Instead of using baby powder, try this instead. You spray it in your hair, leave it in for a few minutes, and brush it out. It's super affordable and it can save you a lot of time, especially when you're on the go.

yes baby powder definitely helps...also don't put other products in it, when you get out of the shower don't brush it until you get ready to fix it..also try herbal essences shampoo and conditioner it's what i use....another thing would to be take a shower in warm water,but when you go to wash your hair use cold water, it keeps it from getting greasy and also keeps your hair from drying out...another would be if your on the go and you don't have time to wash it simply just take a hair dryer and blow dry your hair(:

Put a little baby powder on it. If you need to get going and dont have time to shower it helps.

I would suggest changing shampoo and conditioner. I used to have that problem a little and I was using a hydration shampoo and conditioner and it was making my hair greasy. I would use : pantiene medium-thick...and choose a detailed line of it. Or use herbal essence smooth something.. Haha I'm not sure what it is called but it's pink and smells really good. Make sure you wash out all the conditioner too. Hope this helped!!
