What does it mean if your period blood is brown and smells really bad?

It just outdated period residue. Its harmless and its just something that is getting out of your body after staying a little big long its harmless.

if you skipped a month or 2, the blood is brown because its old blood thats been in your body for too long, so now it has to come out. Your period might be a bit heavier
