If a birth control pill makes you gain weight (10-15 pounds), when you stop taking it will you automatically lose all that weight? Or is it like if you normally gained weight, where you have to work hard to get rid of it?
MariahKacie answered Sunday June 19 2011, 3:26 am: Most girls don't even gain weight while on the pill. My doctor said if you gain weight while on the pill, then it is just because your body is naturally growing and has nothing to do with the birth control. However, if you take the birth control shot, you will probably gain weight. My mom gained 30 lbs. while on the shot, but once she got off it, it wasn't hard to lose.
