i want to earn some money but i can't get a job because i'm only 13 and i dont know who to babysit for. i dont know whether putting up fliers around the neighborhood would actually work. i babysit my own little brother all the time but my parents never pay me or give me an allowance. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If any of your friends babysit, talk to them. There could be a day when they can't babysit and they can refer you to babysit for them that day. Word spreads fast, so if you help your friend babysit then the parents of those kids will tell other people that you are available to babysit. Tell your parents to tell their friends with young kids that you could babysit them. More people will ask you to babysit with time.

How do you make a boy notice you?

If you want a guy to notice you, then you must act confident. Be sure of yourself, but don't act cocky. When you see him, make eye contact with him and smile so he knows you are approachable. Just saying "hi" or "hello" is the simplest way for a guy to notice you. Also, guys like it when you play hard to get, so don't act like you are trying to hard, that is a turn off. Hope everything works out =)

I've been out of school for about a month, and since I've been home for the summer, I've hardly ever left the house. I go to bed around 1 or 2 AM and often don't get out of bed until 1 or 2 PM even if I wake up at 11 or 12. I feel useless and depressed since I don't have anything to do during the day, which is why I stay in bed after I'm awake. I don't want to start my day at 3PM anymore, but I don't know how to fix my sleep schedule so I can be up by at least 10. Has anyone experienced this kind of problem before who can offer solutions?

I went through the same thing last summer! I wasn't going to bed until 4 am and wasn't getting up until 3. What I did to fix the problem was as simple as going to bed earlier and waking up earlier. I know it's really tough at first, but it gets easier. Try reading a book to fall asleep and avoid the computer! The computer is usually the reason I'm up so late. Also, when you wake up in the morning, take a shower and eat breakfast, that will get you energized so you can be up by 10 and have a productive day! If this doesn't work, there are always sleeping pills which can help you get on the right schedule. I've taken them before and they will knock you right out and you will not wake up in the middle of the night :)

If a birth control pill makes you gain weight (10-15 pounds), when you stop taking it will you automatically lose all that weight? Or is it like if you normally gained weight, where you have to work hard to get rid of it?

Most girls don't even gain weight while on the pill. My doctor said if you gain weight while on the pill, then it is just because your body is naturally growing and has nothing to do with the birth control. However, if you take the birth control shot, you will probably gain weight. My mom gained 30 lbs. while on the shot, but once she got off it, it wasn't hard to lose.
