To be totally honest, your first time you may not enjoy, its not until the third or fourth time that you can really get into it, and then it feels great and is a special bonding between you and the person you love. Just remember, be safe not sorry! :) condoms and the pill are the best combination so make sure you are safe.
AskSinz answered Monday May 30 2011, 2:09 pm: For a girl it can be painful the first time, and there can be some blood due to a small piece of tissue called the hymen, when you are penetrated the hymen can be torn slightly or completely torn off which causes the bleeding, this is where the whole name "popping your cherry" came from (this is perfectly normal!). Be sure to use lot's of lube as sometimes there might not be enough lubrication from your vagina and it can chafe and really hurt you down there.
Be safe if you plan on losing your virginity because the last thing you want is to become pregnant at a young age or even worse contract STI's/STD's.
Becoming sexually active attaches you to a person on a higher emotional level, so make sure you like or love this person a lot as you will remember this person as the one you gave your virginity to for the rest of your life.
