For the past two years I've had disordered thoughts about food. I don't vomit and I don't starve. I always eat at least 1200 calories, but sometimes more. I don't binge like I used to, but some days I may eat over 2000 calories and it's unnecessary considering that I'm not physically active. How do I stop eating when I'm not hungry?

I'm 20 also and I'm a recovered anorexic and bullemic. I use to binge a lot during my recovery because I wasn't getting the proper help. It takes a lot of practice and I know you've probably heard that before. Instead of eating low fat stuff, eat real stuff in moderation. I would suggest reading books on intuitive eating. They changed my life! I eat anything I want. I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full. I haven't binged in over a year and have maintained myself at 105 pounds. Please read up on intuitive eating. I wish you the best. Don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions! God bless! :) [ BLONDShorty's advice column | Ask BLONDShorty A Question ]
