I have swelling and discoloration around the eye due to an allergic reaction. How do i get rid of it

I swear by Visine allergy formula for when I have eye reactions. It has antihistamines in it, so it takes the reaction down. It burns a little bit when you put it on, but the relief is so worth it! It's also very reasonably priced and can be purchased at any drug store.
Other than that, cold water on a cloth helps tons.
