Mixed signals, what does he want?

Question Posted Sunday April 10 2011, 2:07 pm

I have been receiving mixed signals from a boy I like. I am an 18 year old male.
We have been friends for a few months and he knows how I feel strongly about him.
He claims he is straight which does not make sense.
I flirt with him and touch his thigh, or tell him he is hot, and just general yet obvious things and he responds by giggling or smiling.
He has spent the night a few times and we have been naked under a blanket and he has fallen asleep next to me in my bed, when he knows i like him.
I have a hard time justifying his claims to heterosexuality.
Though sometimes he agrees to ideas of drinking games like strip poker and sometimes he says he isnt into it.
Hes hasnt avoided me and when I play hard to get he still makes attempts to talk and hang out.
Whats going on? I dont know what to think.
These questions below keep racing through my mind.
Is he mutually interested?
Is he gay or bi or straight?
What does all of this mean?

Some more details are below if you would like additional support for opinion making.

He giggles when I call him hot.
He presses up against me when we share a piano bench.
He knows I like him yet still hangs around.
He has only ever once mentioned a female in the two months we hung out.

I think he's confused. Being gay/bi is a big deal to some people, he might know his parents are against it, he might think he might offend people. (Don't take that the wrong way, I have no problem against homosexuality, I think its just fine)
I think you should ask him. Ask him if he likes you. Be really gentle about it. If he says he's not sure, tell him you understand and try to give him some time. If he says no, then calmly tell him the things that you've noticed about the way he acts towards you. If he says yes, well, lets just hope he says yes. Good luck :]

I think hes Bisexual.
I think so because theres no way a striaght boy is gonna lay with you naked, and not gonna be bothered.
Either GayBisexual.
I think he is just shy to say he isnt straight,I think he is thinking about what people are going to say.
But he is definatly interested with you:D

I dont know all of that means but it seems hes kinda interested in you hun.

Sit him down and let him know what you feel and wat you are thinking about him and how he behaves.

Look for his reaction and then you might know if he does or not,Maybe he wil respond.

Hope this helped ;D
