AskSinz answered Wednesday March 30 2011, 7:10 pm: Amazon's stated aim is to have every book available on the Kindle. Their book store claims something like 30 million titles, while Kindle offers about half a million (bit less in UK, bit more in US). But unfortunately not all authors/publishers will allow for their books to be published as an ebook. The problem here is that in many cases the publisher will not have ebook publication rights to those books, so it will involve new contracts, etc. It's not a straightforward process.
Im not sure if you can download books illegally onto the kindle but heres a little website which could help you on it if you get one. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
The amazon kindle is £111 with just wi-fi and £152 for a kingle with 3G and wi-fi. I'm not sure but it could be possible that you find cheaper options on ebay or something. Hope this helps xx [ AskSinz's advice column | Ask AskSinz A Question ]
