What are more subtle (like no physical contact) signs that a guy likes you?
Or that maybe he's a little jealous when she's with someone else?
We're talking about a 17 year old guy who hasn't quite grown out of caring what other people think of him, and a possible crush on a 15 year old girl in his class who is far from what people are expected to like. He's said she's 'so fun to mess with/tease'.

I don't know who you are talking about (girl or guy) which made this seem confusing. So i'll just answer your question.
Signs a guy likes you: He'll smile shyly/or crookedly. He'll look at you a lot, especially when he thinks you aren't watching him. He'll try to make you smile a lot and will try to impress you. He'll wink at you or move closer to you and might talk to you a lot.
If he is jealous he might narrow his eyes, or look at you a lot. He might also go and talk to you more, to make sure that that other guy isn't taking you over. He may try to put that guy down, and tell you things that might not be true about that other guy.
Things like that!
