I have a friend that I talk to a lot. Let's say this is Friend A. I have another friend that I have somewhat drifted away from and I have not talked to him or hung out with him as much anymore. This is Friend B. (They're both males) Friend A is amazing, I love him to death, we never get sick of being with eachother, and I've known him for about 4 years. Friend B, we're alike in so many ways too, I've known him since Kindergarten, but he's ehh, as in, kinda flat in personality. With Friend A, I can talk all the time, and I always have something to say to him, we listen to eachother, we laugh together, and everything :) Friend B, he commented to me that he thinks I'm trying to replace him, and he's been wound up about me always hangin' around Friend A, and I don't know what to do with him. I don't know if he's jealous, I just wish he talked to me like he used to because he acts like I did something horrible and he's been acting all solemn with me. PLEASE HELP (oh and Friend A asked me out and I do wanna give it a try)
It does sound like Friend B is a little jealous of the communication and closeness that you have with Friend A.
You should talk to Friend B,. And tell him how your feeling about you and him. As for Friend A. He seems so cute for you. You two seem like you really connect. If you want to go out with Friend A,. Then you should. And like Previous Advicer said,. If B doesn't accept how happy and excited you are to be with A then he is not supporting you,. as a true friend should.
Uniqueme answered Wednesday March 23 2011, 11:47 pm: Well, you shouldn't not talk to either guys. Talk to friend B and tell him what's going on with friend A. Tell friend B that you want things to go back to normal, ask him if he's jealous. If you want to give it a try with Friend A, then do it. If Friend B has a problem with it, then oh well, you tried, and it is his loss if he wants to be the way he's acting.
