if you want to stay with him, be prepared to put up with it, or say something about it. I've been in a similar situation just recently. found out she was playing me while I was in Afghanistan, worst thing was that I'd found out from the other guy. I did what I never thought I'd be capable of- I forgave her. probably because I love her and I couldn't stand the thought of being without her... but at the end of that day, she ended up kicking me to the curb. I assume because she didn't want to have the elephant that you are now dealing with in the room. Relationships in which one person holds something over the other are not functional. given the chance, I'd take her back in a heartbeat. relationships are about caring for somebody, even through their fuckups. lording over the person you supposedly care about is not a relationship- its blackmail.
good luck, and learn from your mistake.

You can't get him to trust you. It's something he has to do on his own. You guys should take a break. Admit what you did is wrong but explain how you feel about him and your relationship.
