Having my braces taken off by my non-regular orthodontist
Okay so, I haven't been to an orthodontist in over 5 months (long story). My teeth are straight and I was supposed to have my braces off by now. If I make an appointment for an orthodontist I've never been to, and my mom asked them to take my braces off, would they? And if they would, about how much would it cost? Thanks :)

If you make an appointment at a new orthodontist, they probably will not take your braces off right away. They will need your history and all of the papers from your previous orthodontist, especially for insurance reasons. It might be more pricey to go to someone new. The cost depends on the insurance and the orthodontist in your area. See if you can make an appointment at your regular orthodontist.

A new orthodonist would want to examine you and see your history before touching your braces. I doubt he would just take them off the first appointment.
And cost? That depends on your insurance and the orthodonist you go to.
