School cheerleading tips

Hey guys! So im in 8th grade& school try-outs will be starting for HS cheer soon. I really wanna make it. Ive havent done cheer before, but i know what to know about cheer. Jumps and such. Do yuo have any tips for me? thanks!

Know how to do a standard cartwheel and a round up. Make sure you smile, A LOT! You need to be loud and speak clearly. When you're doing your stunts make sure your moves are sharp (no one wants to see arms just flailing around). It would help if you could do a front or back flip, but it shouldn't be necessary. Try practicing splits and different things like that and you should be good!
