I think your issue might be that you don't have enough fiber in your diet, and that you're not drinking enough liquids. You need to eat more foods with fiber, and you can find a list of those here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
As for liquids... drink juice, soda, water, etc. Anything really works. As long as you drink more liquids and eat more foods that are high in fiber, you should be going to the bathroom more. However if you change up your diet and you're still only using the bathroom once or twice a day, you need to see a doctor.
