how is getting ur braces off?
im a 15 yr old guy. get my braces off next week, feb 11th, after having my braces for 3 yrs. should i take pain meds before going to get them off? i have an 1hr and 30min appointment, and how do ur teeth look after? i have an art show only a couple hours after them off and not sure how ill do...

There is no pain in getting them off. Actually, it feels pretty awesome when they're gone. I'm assuming since you've had them on for 3 years your teeth will look great after.

I had my braces on for 2 1/2 years and I don't remember feeling any pain when I got them taken off. If anything, I just remember feeling relief that I finally got them taken off haha. They will look fine if you've been taking care of them, but they will feel VERY weird...they basically feel very slimy and it will feel like you have a lot of room in your mouth. Nothing to worry about at all, I promise :) goodluck, Jess.
