My best friend got her wisdom teeth out and is kinda freaking out about getting a dry socket. She wanted to know how she would know if she had one and what it'd look like. Also she says her place of extraction is purple and red and i figured it was dried blood or maybe the clot but i wasn't sure so what could it be? Is the clot suppose to be purple and red?

Purple and red would be the healing process of the socket and likely dried up blood. Perfectly normal when having a tooth extraction. It's hard to brush your teeth while having teeth removed, However I recommend gargling salt and warm water to help the healing process become a more speedy one.
