DearAbby92 answered Wednesday January 12 2011, 11:25 pm: Plastic surgery is a general name for hundreds of procedures that can be done to the body to make it more aesthetically pleasing. All procedures are different. Some involve adding implants, like to the breasts, cheeks, chin or more. Others involve removing fat, like liposuction. Getting Botox injections is even considered plastic surgery, even though it is not really a 'surgery'. Scarring really depends on the procedure and how invasive it is. It also varies from person to person and how the wound is taken care of after the surgery.
