What kind of scales are accurate?
Are dial scales accurate? I have a dial scale and my weight goes up and down all day everyday. When I get on doctors scales my weight is different, but they always way me with my shoes on. One time I went to the doctor and the said I weighed 151, then I went to another doctor and they said I weighed 149, but my scale at home always goes from 142 to 146 to 148 everyday and its been doing that for a long time. What scales are accurate and how much do they cost?

Uniqueme answered Wednesday December 15 2010, 9:02 pm: Really, no scale is accurate because they all say different things. But the scales doctors use are pretty accurate considering they need accurate ones. But like you said, you went to two different doctors and you weighed different. It's all about how much you move when on the scale. Never wear shoes. So a scale like at the doctor's probably around 100 dollars. BUT there are also good dial scales out there, the ones that move up aren't good. But dial scales are pretty good. Don't weigh yourself three times a day, weigh yourself at the same time everyday but not after you eat. [ Uniqueme's advice column | Ask Uniqueme A Question ]
