It means that he doesn't need you being insecure about the relationship, doubting his feelings for you. Give it a break, people can't be happy and reply to every single text 24/7.
I'm pretty sure you yourself have those days where you don't want to talk to others.
Texting is not the key foundation to a relationship, so you shouldn't take it so seriously and attack him about it.
