Underage renters

Question Posted Saturday December 4 2010, 7:00 pm

When 3 underage young men sign a rental agreement are all 3 liable if they choose to break the lease? Or is the adult who signs for them the only one liable?

For a legal question, you should ask here:

... as there are no lawyers on this site.

In my personal experience with contracts, only the resposible person is, well, responsible.

Never sign contracts with anyone under the legal signing age where you are unless the adult co-signing is who you want to go after when things go south. I am not a lawyer, but I have had a similar experience.

Please also ask this at the link I gave you above. It is also free.
