my friend says she is being abused what do i do?

Talk to her into reporting the abuse. You can't force her to do anything of course, and if there are obvious signs of the abuse, report it to the authorities for them to see. If your friend doesnt like it, don't worry about it. I think you would rather have your friend upset with you than to have her hurt or in even worse case scenario....end up dead.
